I agree with your comment. I think that having children gives us a glimpse into how God must feel as he deals with our stubborness. It certainly takes more than one time in teaching our children something. Some lessons have to be repeated over and over. Sooner or later they finally start to "get it" but then comes the matter of our <I>will</I> which is another part of this same lesson--yielding our will to Him so that He can teach us.
