Things that make you go "hmmmm"

I may be half Mexican, but there is NOTHING that sounds good to me there except the bread.

I'll have to keep that comment in mind. I guess I could parallel that by saying that we need to make sure that the training that we give isn't above their level.

It's great to hear about your marathon training. I'm psyched for you. Of course, I'm hoping you finish at a really good pace of 3:50 or higher :-). No, really, if you hold the group marathon best after this one, you've definitely earned it.

Remember to have fun and relax, especially through those first miles, and thanks for the prayers.

Dave & Kelly,
Great to hear the grandchildren are learning to ride, one of the times of learning how to let go as parents also. I liked your example of bike riding & your class & eventually you are going to let your class go & pray that you have instilled in them all that they need to continue their walk with the L-rd. Blessings, Mom

Hi Dave and Kelly,
One other thought about your riding a bicycle parable -- you got to start out with right sized bike.

Well, I'm less than two weeks away from Detroit. I'm a little nervous, but to be honest, I'm more confident about this marathon than any of the ones I've done in the past. We'll see how it works out...we're heading up on Friday the 27th and coming back on the 30th. Wish you were here to do it with us...one day, one day...! : )

Take care and say "Hi" to the family for us. I'm praying for you.
