God has a way of presenting us opportunities in our everyday lives. David Watson called them "windows" in which people are ripe to receive ministry. He talked about going to McDonald's in order read the Bible through in a year, but found he kept getting interrupted. After a time, he found that those "interruptions" were God's way of opening his eyes to the needs around him. Some of his most productive ministry happened during those interruptions.

My prayer is that God will continue to help me to recognize the opportunities all around me, and that he would prepare me to share the hope that I have in those moments.

Dave, I agree with Kelly, no need to pray for things to break or not work or for interruptions...they will just normally happen :) Gotta love your heart and willingness to just be there and available for God to use you when those crazy things happen.
