Very cool, Dave & Kelly! Now, are the kids in the pic with Rebekah 12 years old/possibly older? IF so, they’re going to top out at maybe, what, 5 foot, if they’re lucky? Is that a typical height in the region? Just curious . . . , I wonder if diet has anything to do with their height or if it’s more that their heredity is more purely Mayan, which maybe (?) is maybe of shorter stature? Speaking of stature, Allison is a bit over 5’7″ now. She’s going to be trying out for some club volleyball teams this weekend. Me? I’m going to be joining Pastor Justin Kochs at Central in being a human banana split for a BGMC fundraiser (yeah, it’s going to get pretty sticky on Sunday)! : ) Well, we miss you guys and pray for the best for you all.

Dan,

Rebekah told me that they were probably about 9 to 10 years old. However, the typical height for a man would be about 5’4″and the woman about 5′. In my opinion, there are probably a number of factors at work. Certainly the heredity seems to tend toward a diminutive stature, but the dietary staples of Coke and tortillas certainly don’t help!
