Not as well known as "El Castillo, this is one of the few oblong pyramids that exist.
As a side note: Kelly, Rebekah, and I had fun making a Styrofoam and clay model of this pyramid for one of her class projects last year. It certainly gave us a new appreciation of the skill of the Maya people.
